Feb. 5: “The Crack in Everything”
– Unitarian Universalist history is filled with things that we
can be proud of – the first woman to be ordained, the first
black president of a predominantly white denomination, openly
affirming GLBT clergy, etc. But there are also
some things that we don’t talk about – our dark side, as it
were. How do we talk about those parts of ourselves that we
aren’t proud of?
Rev. Sian Wiltshire
Feb. 12: “With Malice Toward None” – Abstract:
On Abraham Lincoln’s 203rd birthday, we celebrate his wisdom,
humanity and love for this country. Lay led, various speakers.
Feb. 19: “The Devil Made Me Do It” – We have a
tendency to think that evil exists outside of ourselves – that
someone else is responsible. How do we heal and take
responsibility for our own actions? Rev. Wiltshire
Feb. 26: “So many causes, so little time” –
There are so many evils in the world – prejudice, hatred,
systemic injustices, racism, poverty, wars, etc. It can feel
very overwhelming when we start diving into any one of them, let
alone all. So how do we combat these evils? Rev. Wiltshire
